Currently in her first year at Fletcher in the Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy program, Alexandra is a dual degree business student with HEC Paris. She focuses on the intersection of business and impact, through two lenses: social entrepreneurship and impact investing. Alexandra first worked for an Indian consultancy helping grassroots social entrepreneurs to set up and scale up their ventures. Most recently, she was the Growth Manager for a promising French ed-tech startup in the publishing industry.

Michael is a 2nd year Master of International Business candidate studying finance, banking, and international trade & development economics. This past summer he was performing economic impact assessments for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation for projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Prior to Fletcher, Michael was in the U.S. Peace Corps where he focused on microfinance and business support. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Economics and Government in 2011.

Ashraya is a 1st year Master of International Business Candidate from Nepal focusing on finance and business law. He was Most recently, he worked in Nepal helping communities and enterprises rebuild after the 2015 earthquake. He also has experience developing Nepal’s social enterprise ecosystem. Ashraya graduated from Grinnell College with a degree in Economics and Mathematics in 2014.

As a strategic investment manager with 10+ years experiences at an insurance company in Japan and at an impact investing private equity firm in Switzerland, she sourced, structured, negotiated and executed investments in financial institutions including microfinance institutions and micro-insurance companies in Asia, Europe and USA. She obtained B.A. in Business and Commerce at University of Keio.

McKenzie is a 2nd year Master of International Business candidate studying finance, banking, and international political economy. Prior to Fletcher, McKenzie was a strategy and operational effectiveness consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC (PwC). She graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2010.
